Wombling Rotarians Clean Up.

Forfar Rotarians organised a litter pick as part of the Coronation “Help in the Community” .
It is somethingwe normally undertake in the community anyway but it was decided to make another effort this weekend. Bad weather did not deter these Rotarians as they cleared the tree line from between Forfar and Gowanbank on Montrose Rd this morning Sunday 7th May.

20 bags of litter and various bigger items and a car battery were uplifted and taken to the recycling centre. Its a sad reflection on modern life when people think its OK just to chuck things out the car window or are too lazy to take the larger items to Forfar’s well run and helpful staff in Queenswell Road.

Rotarian Scotty Ballantyne who organised this mornings Litter Pick, thanked to all the Rotarians involved this morning.
