Forfar Rotary's Official Website
President Jim McCluskey
If you are not a Rotarian then I hope that the information on this website about Rotary International, our Club, who we are and what we do will be of interest to you.
Since the formation of our club in 1947, we have been guided by the Rotary Maxim of ‘Service above Self’. We are all very committed to working for our community within Forfar as well as International Projects, including the End Polio Now Campaign and our most recent appeal Coats2Syria.
Club members come from many different walks of life and our membership comprises both active and retired, business and professional people. You can find out more about our current membership, and if you live locally how you might join The Rotary Club of Forfar, using the Feedback button.
Visitors to Forfar either on business or pleasure are most welcome to contact us.
New members are always welcome.
As a new member you will:
• make new friends
• be part of the world-wide well-respected Rotary International organisation
• take part in our many activities and projects
• hear high quality and interesting speakers.
The Rotary Club of Forfar meets every week at the The Stag Hotel, Forfar on Wednesday evenings at 5.45pm for 6.00 p.m. Meetings usually start with dinner, followed by either a guest speaker or a business discussion. Our provisional programme for the coming weeks can be viewed on our Programme page.
We welcome new members interested in having fun while "Giving Something Back " to the community. Fresh ideas and enthusiasm are the lifeblood of any organisation.
