Meeting weekly at The Royal Hotel

                                       President Doug McFarlane

If you are not a Rotarian then I hope that the information on this website about Rotary International, our Club, who we are and what we do will be of interest to you.

Since the formation of our club in 1947, we have been guided by the Rotary Maxim of ‘Service above Self’. We are all very committed to working for our community within Forfar as well as International Projects, including the End Polio Now Campaign and our recent appeals Coats2Syria, Olivia Giles 500 Miles Charity. etc etc. Open the tab "why we raise money" to see a list of organisations that have received monetary assistance form the Club.

Club members come from many different walks of life and obviously as a dual gender club our membership comprises gents but only one lady. Active or retired, business and professional people with an interest in their community are always at the top of our list for new members. You can find out more about our current membership, and if you live locally how you might join The Rotary Club of Forfar, using the Feedback button. Why not come along to a meeting and find out more about the projects we get up to.

Visitors to Forfar either on business or pleasure are most welcome to contact us.

New members are always welcome and always neeeded.

As a new member you will:

• make new friends

• be part of the world-wide well-respected Rotary International organisation

• take part in our many activities and projects

• hear high quality and interesting speakers.

The Rotary Club of Forfar meets every week at the The Royal Hotel, Forfar on Wednesday evenings at 5.45pm for 6.00 p.m. Meetings start with business or a speaker followed by dinner and a chat.

We welcome new members interested in having fun while "Giving Something Back " to the community. Fresh ideas and enthusiasm are the lifeblood of any organisation and you could be that someone.
