Marafun Funds Booster

The Marafun run by The Forfar Rotary Club had tremendous support from the Brechin based company Forster Roofing Services. Their efforts in electing to enter three teams in the 2014 event culminated in them raising the roof with their donation of £1584.

Forster Chairman John Forster said “we are delighted to support the exceptional work of the Jacqui Wood Cancer Centre by raising funds and assisting to raise public awareness of the Charity”.

Accepting the cheque was Aubrey Wood, vice chairman for the charity campaign who acknowledge the support and of course the cheque. He paid tribute to the Forfar Rotary Club and the individuals of the Forster Group who got together to raise the magnificent total.

The Rotary Club of Forfar will make public later this year the total money raised once all the pledges have been collected and the Marafun Raffle has been drawn.
