John Vannet - President Mike - Hannah Lucas

Forfar Rotary welcomed Speaker Bruce Dorward to the club meeting this week and his subject was the Forfar Instrumental Band. This was no surprise as Bruce has been a stalwart of the band for many years. His well researched history of the Instrumental Band proved to be a winner with all the Rotarians who have supported the band by providing financially for the purchase of new intruments etc. Rotarian Ian Findlay proposed the Vote of Thanks.
Also at the meeting were Hannah Lucas and Academy Teacher John Vannet.Hannah was the recipient of the Technology Award and John Vannet collected the Sports Trophy on behalf of James Beattie who was unfortunately unable to attend due to a delayed flight on his return from holiday. Thanking the Rotary Club for its support, John Vannet thanked President Mike Cumming for the continuing interest and cooperation between Forfar Rotary and Forfar Academy.
