ROTARY WELCOMES NEW MEMBER HAYDEN THOMAS

Hayden grew up in West Linton in the Scottish borders attending Peebles High School. Went to University in Aberdeen where I met his Wife Anna, They spent their early twenties working in England, living in St Albans, York and Bristol.

In 2006 they moved to Forfar and started Stonepack a company that goes from strength to strength.

They have two boys, Finlay and Logan, aged 12 and 10. As a family enjoy skiing and sailing and are looking forward to participating when the Covid restrictions are lifted.

Hayden and Anna are both keen horse riders . Although always a rider, he stated he had to take more of an interest, as otherwise he would never see Anna at all.

He took up Curling in the past couple of years and in his first season found it was also a great way to meet new people, many of them members of the Rotary. He was persuaded to join in a few Rotary Zoom meetings and found he enjoyed the presentations and what Rotary was achieving in the community.

He is now looking forward to being more involved and getting to know the rest of the club members who in his words “are a friendly bunch” and encourages others to consider membership.
