A Thank You from Forfar Rotary Club.

Well we have done all we promised and so it is time to let Santa have a break before Christmas Day.

To bring our Christmas Programme together we have lots of preparation to do before we even start. Logistically we need to do so many things such as,

Make sure our Rotary Insurance covers all that we do.

Carry out a Risk Assessment.

Check Health and Safety Issues.

Check with the Roads Department.

Check with the Lights Department.

Check with the Police.

Get the Sleight out and check all is okay and working.

Fitted replacement Light on the Sleigh.

Organise a sound system.

However we would like to put on record all those who have assisted Forfar Rotary in many different ways because the progamme could not be delivered without help from others.

To Tesco and Asda for providing the oranges and sweets for “the Cross”

To Asda for allowing our Gift Tree project to be held at the Store.

To Tesco and Asda for Allowing us to bring Santa to each Store.

To the Many Groups who assisted with the nightly collections as Santa visited as many streets as we could safely get the sleigh round. They will be rewarded for their efforts.

None of this could have been done without an outstanding contribution from Rotarian Sandy Ogilvie who brought it all together, he deserves a special thank you from the Club for a job well done.

Last but not least we THANK the PEOPLE of FORFAR for their support with their donations which we can assure you all, will put to good use. The money raised is 100% used for charitable causes so we will be issuing some as early as January.
