Bloomin' Marvellous Speaker!

President Alan welcomed guest speaker Eleanor Gledhill to this weeks meeting, she was representing Forfar in Flower, a voluntary organisation intent on tidying up Forfar's less salubrious outdoor areas.

This group has done much to increase the pride of local citizens by enhancing their town's appearance, improving landscaping and planting in areas such as The Cross, Lochside Leisure Centre/ The Caravan Park entrance,and Dundee Road Co-Op/ chip shop area as well as shop-sponsored pole planters

Forfar in Flower has enlisted the support of other organisations including the community payback scheme and invites new volunteers to join in the fun by emailing Eleanor on craichie@aol.com .

In recognition of their efforts, Forfar in Flower was presented with a cheque from Forfar Rotary for £350 to help fund future Forfar projects.
