In the last night of his presidential year, President Tim Hale had the pleasure of presenting David Pate with a certificate in recognition of his 50 years of service as a Rotarian of the Forfar Club. He also received a message of congratulations from the President of Rotary International, Sakuji Tanaka. David is still a regular attendee and still enjoys his involvement at the club. On receiving his certificate David remarked that he felt that Rotary is a great organisation and one that he felt does so much good to the local and international world, much of which goes on without fuss and often unrecognised by the general public. He said he has many goood memories of his 50 years involvement and can’t think where the time has gone. All members attending shook hands at the end ogf the meeting and paid tribute to his achievement.
