Forfar Rotary President Tim Hale met with Joe McGrath at the local Forfar branch of Asda to present the store with a Certificate. The Rotary club have presented various companies with certificates for their assistance in all the varied tasks undertaken by the club in the run up to Christmas. Starting with the building of a new sleigh to take Santa to the Cross, much enjoyed by club members then the collection of children’s letters, replying to all the letters and finally visiting as much of the town with the sleigh. All of these public service activities could not be achieved without the help of the business community and in this case the donation of oranges handed out to the children at the Cross. We are fortunate in Forfar to have so much support for the Rotary Club and this was another example of how much we appreciate it.
