Lynda talks on Cash for Kids

President welcomes Lynda Curran to the weekly meeting to talk to the club about The Radio Tay Charity "CASH for KIDS"
Radio Tay’s Cash for Kids has been raising money for local children for 30 years. The charity relies on the generosity and compassion of individuals and businesses throughout the area and holds many different events throughout the year. Every penny raised in Tay Territory, stays in Tay Territory and Cash for Kids was able to help over 27,000 children last year with funds raised totalling over £200,000. One of the best things about Cash for Kids is that those who support us know their money is going to improve the lives of children in their town, street or school – in short, the kids on our own doorstep.
Our most recent fundraiser was Bring a Pound to Work Day on 27th May. Hundreds of schools and workplaces registered to take part and we hope to raise over £15,000 from this event.
