Ally Roebuck Quiz
The Ally Roebuck Rotary Quiz.
Twelve teams participated this year, bearing weird names such as "Don't have a Scoobie ", "Scotty's Kling-ons", Gordon & Tonic but the winning team leapt into the lead on the last of the ten rounds!! So it was a close competition with a winning performance from The Nearly Men. This is the third year in succession that they have won so who out there can muster a team for next year to knock them off their pedestal.
Ally Roebucks wife Lelsey and his mother Mrs. Rena Roebuck helped award the prizes at the Quiz started by Ally at Forfar Rotary and the club are always pleased to have them attend each year and thank them for giving up their time. As the event is always about fun and fund raising it was great to announce that the competition had raised a generous £411. The money will be donated to the Rotary Appeal to assist the Japanese Disaster Relief Fund.
