MORE AID TO ONLINE LEARNING.

Forfar Rotary thought that our programme to provide Forfar Primary Schools with Laptops and Tablets would have ceased as the sources as donations seemed to have dried up. However we are delighted that this much needed cause still continues thanks to more donations.

Rotarian Jim McCluskey the Youth Convenor happily made the trip to hand over more units to Strathmore Primary Head Teacher Jennifer Garnes and Laura Stewart who both praised the efforts of Forfar Rotary. We are always made most welcome at Strathmore Primary.

Whitehills Primary was the next destination for the hand over of another three laptops to Mrs Pamela Jorosz and three of her equally enthusiastic pupils. Pamela also gave the news that the first awardee of the Shield donated by the club was Isabella Yule for Creative Writing and she has now left Whitehills moving to Secondary education at the Academy.

So in conclusion we are still open for donations so if you missed our earlier appeals its never to late to assist us in our community work which in this case is enhanced thanks to the assistance given to the project by COMPUTERDEN
