BLOOMING FOFAR

President Doug McFarlane of Forfar Rotary Club presented a cheque for £140 to Forfar in Bloom members in Boyle Park. This donation is to go towards developing two new garden displays just inside the entrance to the park. Commenting Doug said “We are lucky to have the volunteers of Forfar in Bloom in our community.

The existing flower beds will be filled in and grassed over making maintenance easier. Environment and Diversity Convenor for the Rotary Club Sandy Ogilvie welcomed the initiative as some of the old flower beds were neglected and difficult to keep clear of weeds.
