A Tribute to Rotarian JIM KELMAN.

In a week where Forfar Rotarians mourned the loss of Honorary Member Morris Yeaman and of Margaret Valentine, wife of Rotarian David Valentine, the further loss of Rotarian Jim Kelman was perhaps the most deeply felt.

Jim was well liked by all and until recent weeks had been an active member of the Club. His wry sense of humour was always present, but he also displayed a professionalism in all that he did. His work with Rotary was fully recognised when Jim was presented with a Paul Harris Award in 2018. This is the highest honour given to those who have contributed to the humanitarian work and ideals of Rotary. His contribution to the lives he touched through his membership are many, but his loyalty to the spirit of Rotary will leave a huge void within the club.

Our thoughts are now with his family feeling their loss of a husband, father and grandfather, all of whom Jim was justifiably proud.
