Forfar Rotary's Gift Tree Appeal

Christmas is often the last straw for those who are struggling with no money. That’s why they turn to the community for support. It really is a once in a year opportunity to help someone who is in difficulty before things get worse. A gift now could help help bring families together this festive season.

Donate to our Christmas Appeal by collecting a Card from our Gift Tree when you visit the Asda Store on Saturday and Sunday the 28th / 29th November. You simply collect a card from the Gift Tree and on it will be details of a child. It will let you know if the gift you purchase is for a boy or girl and the age of the child. You then purchase something “in-store” and on leaving hand over the gift along with the card or hand it in at a later date to Astute who will be receiving gifts up until 11 December. Please do not wrap the gift as it is helpful for the families to see what they will be giving on Christmas morning and rotary helps with supplying wrapping paper.

Continue to support families living below the poverty line and through Forfar Rotary make sure that a child will at least have one present to open on Christmas Day.
