Forfar Rotary New Member

Forfar Rotary Club welcomed a new member for the second time this month as hard on the heels of Peter Webster, President Robin Wardhaugh inducted David Tidball.

David is the Salvation Army Officer, new to the postion in Forfar where he recently took up the post. Born in Falmouth and there attended school and entered working life as an apprentice Electronic Technician.From here on he held various positions as he climbed the promotional ranks and gainig experience. David eventually started his own business in Fire Protection which he ran for 18 years before selling and joining the Salvation Army.

This career path lead to a 6 year stint in the Orkney Island then 2 years further on Dundee Central before he and his wife also a Salvation Officer, will carry on the good work in Forfar.

David's Classification in Rotary is “Salvation Army Officer” and he has been assigned to the Community and Vocational Committee.
