Presentation to Forfar Rotary Club Website Guru.

Outgoing President Alan Cairns at the recent Rotary Club Hand Over Meeting traditionally handed over to incoming President Robin Wardhaugh an inscribed Gavel for safekeeping. This Gavel was presented to Forfar Rotary Club on the occasion of the clubs charter on 26th February 1948.

At President Robin's first meeting in charge on 1st July, he surprised the meeting by presenting this ' item of Regalia' to Ian Findlay to be held for one year before it being returned for next years President to present it to a recipient of their choice. Robins choice was in recognition of Ian's work in looking after the clubs Website, Facebook Page and the Press in his role as PR for the club. This role he has fulfilled over the last eleven years, keeping it up to date so that the members and the general public can be kept in touch with the Clubs Activities involving the local communities and its World wide Charity work.

President Robin hopes that this may rekindle interaction between Forfar and the Dundee Club in the future.
