Santa and Mrs Claus along with his two elf sidekicks  arrived at the Cross to great welcome. After the short singing session and the lights being switched on not even the drizzle falling on the crowd could dampen the spirits of the hundreds who attended this annual switch event. However this is just the start of the Forfar Rotary Christmas with Santa.

You all came to see him,, and now Santa will calling on as many houses as possible starting on Monday 1st December. We are sure all the girls and boys will be getting excited by that time and hope Santa will get to the houses before bedtime. We need all our time to do the collections and street visits so in order that we do not arrive too late for the children, we will have Santa on the sleigh at all times where he will happy to see kids come to meet him.

Door to Door collections will be made as normal and we look forward to the usual generousity from the public in Forfar. As we are sure you are aware all money collected goes to charitable causes and costs are met by the Rotarians.
