6 Harbours Walk

The Six Harbours Walk

Forfar Rotary Club were again walking for Charity by taking part in the Buckie Rotary Club's 6 Harbours Walk from Portsoy along the coastal path to Buckie. A good day to start with but a very wet end during heavy rain during the last hour.

A total of 16 Miles was completed by Andy Renwick, David Stobbs, Anne and Ian Findlay and although Alan Cairns did not complete the walk he probably walked even more in his attempts to find his dog Angus who had become a bit wanderlust.

Linda Stobbs and Pam Cairns did a shortened walk by starting from Cullin to Buckie although Pam again was called into action to look for Angus.

For the concerned reading this and to the relief of Alan and Pam, Angus was reunited with his anxious owners the next day finding out that a local person had "taken Angus in and had not notified the police till next morning thinking it was a local persons dog.

Forfar Rotary Members contributed to the sponsored walk and their generousity was appreciated by the Team of Walkers.
