The last duty performed by the out going President Tim Hale was to hand over the Chair and the Presidential Chain to New President of Forfar Rotary Scott Ballantyne. Tim recalled moments and achievements in his presidential year which included memorable events many of which are community events annually performed by the club as well as new and international events. The list was impressive and although much was achieved by a lot of hard work it was done with memories of having also had a lot of fun.

New President Scott, usually addressed as Scotty, stressed the importance of involvement and the need to look for fresh talented individuals to join Rotary. He is looking forward to being the new president and it is felt by members that he will “do it his way” and bring his individuality to the incoming Rotary year.
